Dear School Families,

“What greater work is there than training the mind and forming the habits of the young.”
Pope Pius XI, Divini Illius Magistri 1929.
Parents and Guardians welcome to the 2017–2018 school year at Christ the King Catholic School. It is with great joy and hope that we gather to begin a new year of study and friendship. The first days of school are one of my favorite times during the school calendar. There is electricity to the morning air that is full of possibilities. The teachers and students are refreshed and ready to get down to the fun of learning. And everyone has straight A’s! Please join with me in my prayers that we share a safe and fun experience this year and we work together to give our students the best education possible.

A Note from Miss McMillan:

To My CTK Family:
It is with a tremendous amount of sadness that I announce that I will not be returning to CTK this year. I will miss all of the students, parents, and my co-workers tremendously. You all have been my family, friends, and support system for these last twelve years; words cannot express how grateful I am for each and every one of you.
Miss McMillan

A Note from Mr. Guaragna:

I would like to thank all the families past and present that I have come in contact with over my past 6 years at CTK for allowing me to be a part of their lives and community!  Thank you for always making me feel welcome.
Paul Guaragna

We would like to welcome: Mrs. Nicole Yackee - Grade 1, Miss Alyssa Daley - Grade 7, Mrs. Carol Alonso - Religion Gr. 5-7, Miss Heather Gibbons - Technology Classes Gr. K- 4, Mr. Tim Finnegan - Technology Support, Miss Marissa Hernandez - Teacher Assistant Gr. 6-8 and K-3 (Reading), Mr. Rick Lejano - Choir Director/Music, Mr. Elijah Lingad from Rhythm & Moves - Physical Education.
Thank You’s!

• A special thank you to all families who sent year end gifts, cards and notes to the School Office. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness!
• A big thank you to Mrs. Eileen Brinker for organizing a very enjoyable & successful Ice Cream Social for our new families and mentors last Sunday!
• Many thanks to our Hospitality group organizing and welcoming our families at our New Family Social and our Parent Coffee and providing a great start to our new year!

We ask the CTK community to join with us in prayers for those who are ill, hungry, homeless and without and for those looking for work.
