Dear School Families,
We are in the third week of Advent and we focus on what is ahead. It is a time of darkness, cooler weather and very excited children. Mary, the mother of Jesus, was in great anticipation at this time. She remained calm, and brought forth a sense of peace. It is important to focus on the time with family. As it was stated in the parish bulletin, take back the dinner table time. Enjoy the moments around the table where the children share their day and their thoughts about Jesus. Enjoy their laughter and excitement about all that is about to happen. Pray with them. Use this time to remind them how great it is to be able to give to programs like St. Boniface, St.Vincent de Paul, etc. What will the family do during these weeks of Christmas for others? What is God calling us to respond to at this time? We pray for each of our families to have a very blessed Christmas and a joyful New Year.
Parish Directories - are available in the school hall if any families would like to have one – free!
St. Boniface Gift: Thank you for such an outpouring of gifts for others. Fr. Tommy, pastor of St. Boniface, will be so touched and he knows how hard these times are for families. The San Francisco police department delivers the gifts right to St. Boniface Church. This is right next to St. Anthony's dining room in the Tenderloin. Thank you to everyone for completing such a huge project!
