Dear School Families,
As we close the Christmas season, we look back to the season of giving – giving to families at St. Boniface, food for the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Change for change. The 8th graders, under the direction of Mrs. Alonso, gave quite a performance as well as all the other grades and their teachers for Aloha Christmas. Thank you for the many cards and gifts that our faculty and staff received from you and your children, a big season of giving. The students came back on Wednesday and our faculty and staff were ready to welcome them back with exciting lesson plans and lots of terrific activities. One of the ways we continue to celebrate our 50th year was to have a birthday party. Students in their faith families decorated cupcakes and enjoyed the treat together.
Now we turn our attention to the auction-great theme, lots of fun and lots of ways to be involved and creative. The Auction is a month earlier this year so therefore we must really be busy bees now to get everything completed. Please think about great auction items, clever parties, use of vacation homes, etc. The Ohrmans are working hard and their committees are putting lots of exciting touches on everything. Tickets go on sale after the 9:15 mass on Sunday, January 22nd. Call the Ohrmans if you have an idea or want to volunteer – now is the time!
Prayers are requested for Grace Corral and those who are sick, hungry, homeless and without work.
