Dear School Families,

Thank you very much to the Symonds family and the rest of the Festival team. I had a fantastic time and enjoyed the mix of old standbys and new attractions. Such an enormous project only works when the whole team comes through. Please join me in thanking the Kahunas and the tropical team when you see them on campus.
Today you will be receiving the extra-large packet of information and forms for NEXT school year. Please pay close attention to the directions, contents, and return the requested items by the dates requested.

REQUEST FOR PRAYERS: Prayers are requested for those who are fighting cancer, those who are sick, those who are recovering from surgery, those who are hungry, homeless and those who need our prayers.

SPECIAL THANK YOU: Fr. Santhosh, the brother of Fr. Paulson thanks Christ the King School and the many of you for contributing books for his children's library. He was deeply touched by your generosity. He left for India last week and took with him 220 pounds of books. Fr. Paulson will take the remaining books when he leaves on vacation.

2017-2018 PACKETS COMING YOUR WAY: Packets for the 2017-2018 school year are being sent home to all returning families today along with your regular Tuesday Family Envelope. The remaining forms are available for download at Most forms have a May 31st deadline for return. Please make sure to read all of the information carefully. If you any questions about your packet, please don’t hesitate to call the school office. 

FESTIVAL NEWS: Our three day Lau Hana Festival is over. We wanted to thank our committee for putting on a truly amazing weekend. Countless hours were spent working on every aspect of the event to make it special. Thank you to the school and parish staff for all of your support.

FESTIVAL REIMBURSEMENTS: Festival receipts for reimbursement are due NOW! The Reimbursement Form is in today’s download. Please send them to the school office in an envelope marked: ATTN: Kate Halfon.

8TH GRADE PARENTS: This is a reminder to all 8th grade families who will be leaving our school community this June: All financial obligations (Tuition, Extended Care, and School Fund Assessment) must be paid in full tomorrow, May 24th.

LAST HOT LUNCH: This Thursday May 25th will be the last Thursday hot lunch for 2016-2017. Bring your own lunch on Thursday.

• Last order for this school year is May 31st with delivery by June 8th. Order around your summer plans movies, Hyatt Hotels, Disney, restaurants, etc. summer fun!
• Also don’t forget to sign up for the Scrip Sense Program. It’s a great way to continue to earn your SFA obligation.
• IN/OUT Scrip is back in stock. Place your orders now.
• Classic Designs Uniform Scrip will be available at the Uniform Sale on Wednesday, July 26th.

PTG NEWS: Have you ever wanted to join PTG? Now is the time! PTG has open spots and is looking for new people to join. The open spots are Mother Son Chair, Social and Hospitality (2 people), Art Awareness Co Chair (looking for a parent with kids in Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd) and Garden Awareness Co Chair. PTG Uniform Exchange- Don’t know what to do with all of the old uniforms your kids have outgrown? Anything that is still in good condition can be turned into the school office labeled “Uniform Exchange”. The PTG will have a uniform exchange sometime this summer.
