REQUEST FOR PRAYERS: Prayers are requested for Deacon John Ashmore as he recovers from
surgery. For those who are sick, homeless, hungry, and without work. We pray for all those who work in
Catholic education and we thank them for this valuable ministry to our church.
MOTHER-SON EVENT: Thank you to all who organized this exciting event! Over 100 moms and
sons were in attendance for this great event! It was a fun time for all!
FESTIVAL SPIRIT WITH FESTIVAL T-SHIRTS AT SCHOOL: Students can share their Festival
Spirit next week from Monday, May 14th through Friday, May 18th by wearing a Festival T-shirt from any
year to school with uniform pants, shorts, skorts, jumpers, or skirts. If students choose to not wear a
Festival T-shirt, they must be dressed in their regular school uniform.
FINAL TUITION PAYMENT: All tuition accounts must be paid in full by today, May 8th. If your
account is not complete, please contact the school office this week. Current students will not be
considered re-registered for the 2018-2019 school year as long as this year’s tuition is unpaid.
FIRST TUITION PAYMENTS FOR 2018-2019: No payments are due June and July. The first tuition
payment for 2018-2019 is due on August 1, 2018.
SCRIP NEWS: The last order date before summer break is May 31st with delivery on June 7th. Plan your
summer SCRIP needs and stock up. Don’t forget to order Classic Design Uniform Store SCRIP, these
may not be available during the Uniform Sales Day! There will be NO physical SCRIP card sales during
the summer. You can still purchase scripnow ecards and reload now through shopwithscrip during the
FESTIVAL MEDIEVAL MADNESS: Festival needs your help!
• Tickets and Wristbands: Got those preorders in for festival tickets and wristbands, they are
due Wednesday, May 9. Ticket pick up is on Friday, May 18 from 3:00-3:45 outside the school
gym facing the parking lot.
• Cake boxes for baked goods: Will be distributed next Tuesday, May 15. Baked good drop off
begins at 3:00 on Friday, May 18 in the gym kitchen. Please contact Nancy Molina
at firstname.lastname@example.org any questions.
• Festival Signups: We still need volunteers to sign up to help during Festival
Weekend, especially Saturday night!! Sign up at http://signup.com/go/RFfSuqy. Please note
we are offering DOUBLE FUNDRAISING HOURS for cleanup shifts on Sunday from
8:00 - 10:30 a.m. and 10:30 - 1:00 p.m.
• Stuffed Animals and Glassware: We are in URGENT need of ‘like new’ stuffed animals and
glassware (glasses, cups, small dishes). Please bring your donations to the school office lobby in
a box or bag labeled “Festival.”
• Festival T-Shirts: Will be delivered to classrooms on Friday. If you did not order one, we'll be
selling extras in the morning before school next week. Old Festival T-Shirts will also be available
at bargain prices, as well as the handy fanny packs from a couple of years ago, perfect for little
ones storing their tickets, etc. Students are allowed to wear Festival T-Shirts from any year
all next week leading up to Festival.
Please read the following specifications carefully:
• Starbooks: Last call for Starbooks! Clean and gently used books for adults and children in
these categories: fiction, non-fiction, religion, travel, cooking, self-help, parenting, gardening,
hobbies, sports, arts and crafts, mystery, romance, sci-fi, philosophy, arts, animals, politics and
more. We also accept CDs and DVDs and audio books. Contact Suellen Noland
(email@example.com) with questions. Please drop off the boxes with your donations outside
the gym doors (please don’t block the doors).
• DROP OFF for Country Store: Items for Country Store must be dropped off in our storage
pod, which is located next to the youth house, adjacent to the main parking lot. Please DO NOT
drop off in front of school office or gym. The last drop off date and time is Saturday, May 12th
from 1:30-5:00 p.m. Thank you everyone for all your help!

PARISH AND COMMUNITY EVENTS
BOB BUCCI MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT OF HOPE: Join the Bucci Family for the second
annual Bob Bucci Memorial Tournament of Hope. All proceeds raised will go directly to the Northern
California Family Center (www.ncfc.us). Last year, with over 40 participants in the inaugural event, we
raised over $6,500 for the NCFC, which has been placing foster children, training foster parents and
providing intensive clinical, shelter and referral services for runaway, homeless, neglected and abused
youth in Contra Costa County since 1978. The golf tournament is a scramble format and will be held on
Friday June 15th, 2018 at Franklin Canyon Golf Course. Details for registering and/or to make a donation

MUSICAL THEATER PERFORMANCE - GREASE: Many of our students will be performing in
“Grease-School Edition” at the Danville Village Theatre, 233 Front Street, Danville.

Sunday, May 27 at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 29 7:00 p.m.
