The following is an overview of the extended day care program. Please refer to the Parent\Student Handbook or request a CLUB CTK Handbook for further details regarding, policies, and procedures.

LOCATION
Club CTK meets in room 002 located under the West end of the main building. We also use all available parish facilities including the Junior High Wing, Monsignor Wade Center, and the playground.

PROGRAM HOURS
The hours of the Extended Day Care Program are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, when school is in session except the last school day before Christmas break and the last day of school. CLUB CTK can be reached at directly at (925) 685-0995 between 7 AM and 6 PM. After hours, please leave a Voice Mail message.

ELIGIBILITY
The Extended School Day Program is exclusively for students attending Christ the King School in grades K-8.

REGISTRATION
Students using CLUB CTK must be registered. The Extended Day Care registration form, the Emergency Authorization form and the family registration fee must be received before students may attend CLUB CTK.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations are required in advance for daily attendance whenever possible and for minimum days. Reservations may be made or changed on a daily or ongoing basis either by phone, personal note or by completing a reservation form. If making a reservation is not possible children will be welcome and parents will be billed at the higher drop-in rate. Any child not picked up by 3:15 PM on a regular school day or 12:45 PM on a minimum school day will be sent to CLUB CTK. Parents may cancel a reservation at any time prior to scheduled attendance. In the event that a reservation is not cancelled or the child does not attend as scheduled CLUB staff will check on the whereabouts and safety of the child to be sure that the child is safe. Parents will be charged a flat no show fee.

FEES
A yearly registration fee of $50 is charged to each family using CLUB CTK. The cost for program services is $4.50 per hour with reservation, $5.50 per hour without reservation. This is per child payable in quarter hour increments. Parents who fail to pick up their child(ren) by 6:00 PM will be charged $1.00 per minute, per child for every minute after 6:00 PM. Students with reservations who do not attend and do not notify CLUB will be assessed a no show fee of $5.00.

CLUB CTK statements will be sent home in the Family Envelope. Payment is due upon receipt. Payments are to be made separately from tuition payments. Make checks payable to ‘Christ the King School Extended Day Care’. A late fee of $15 will be assessed on bills delinquent beyond eight (8) days. Return payment with white statement copy in the CLUB CTK envelope.

ATTENDANCE
All children must be signed in and out on the daily attendance sheet provided in the Club Room. It is imperative that children are signed in and out correctly. Please refer to the handbook for detailed procedures.

ABSENCES
If your child is absent from school, the School Office will notify CLUB CTK and your registration will be cancelled for that day. If siblings are expected at CLUB CTK on that day, but will not be attending, please cancel your reservation as outlined.

CANCELLATIONS
If your child is in school and expected at CLUB CTK but will not attend, please cancel your reservation. Parents may cancel at any time prior to scheduled attendance. If a reservation is not cancelled or the child does not attend as scheduled, parents will be charged a flat "no show" fee. Please make every effort to cancel. CLUB staff members often devote much time and effort trying to locate children who are scheduled to be at CLUB, in order to assure their safety.

DROP-IN POLICY
The fee for students without reservations is $5.00 per hour or any portion thereof.

DRESS CODE
Students attending CLUB CTK must dress according to the Dress Code/Personal Appearance section of this handbook at all times. Students attending CLUB CTK after school may change clothes as specified under Non-uniform days. The School Administration makes the final decision regarding student attire and grooming.
